Our Roastery
Artisanal specialty brand dedicated to putting high-altitude Himalayan Arabica on the global coffee map. Sourcing 100% premium Arabica beans directly from the pristine estates and smallholder farms of the Darjeeling and Kalimpong hills, the roastery bridges traditional mountain cultivation with modern flavor science.
Operating out of its own dedicated lab, the roastery utilizes precision-crafted roast profiles—ranging from vibrant light roasts to smooth medium-dark espresso blends. Their signature approach locks in the unique microclimate characteristics of the region, delivering exceptionally clean, low-bitterness cups defined by bright mountain citrus, delicate florals, and smooth, chocolatey undertones.
How do we roast our coffee?
The philosophy of Cornerstone’s roastery is likely to be shaped by a combination of factors including their their values, goals, and the preferences of customers. However, a commitment to quality, craftsmanship, transparency, sustainability, education, and continuous improvement.
At Cornerstone Coffee Roastery we used two coffee roasting machines with capacities of 800 grams, 7 kg and 15kg respectively. Having both the stronghold S7pro sample roasting machine is designed for small batch roasting used for quality control, experimentation, and profile processing.
A 7kg and 15kg drum roasting machine is a powerful and versatile tool for medium to large-scale coffee roasting operations, offering high-capacity precision control, efficiency, and the ability to produce consistent and high-quality roasted beans.
