With over a decade of experience in the coffee industry, Himalaya Cornerstone Coffee is a name trusted by coffee lovers and professionals. We’re the first specialty coffee roastery in Northeast India, and from cultivating our own coffee beans in the hilly regions of North Bengal to roasting and delivering the finest brews, we are dedicated to quality, sustainability, and excellence in every cup. In 2019, we took our commitment to coffee to the next level by opening Cafe Andante, offering the finest coffee directly to our customers. But our vision goes beyond coffee; we are passionate about nurturing the next generation of coffee professionals. Our Journey into Education In 2022, we expanded our horizons beyond coffee roasting to coffee education, launching the Cornerstone Barista Academy & Lab. Our mission is to empower the next generation of coffee professionals through hands-on barista training, in-depth knowledge of coffee origins, brewing methods, and the artistry behind the perfect cup.

BARISTA SKILLS PROGRAMM

Perfect for beginners, this course covers the essentials: Coffee basics & origin, Espresso-making techniques, Introduction to latte art , Essential equipment handling. Our Barista Course is designed to build both skill and confidence, guiding you through the essentials of coffee—from understanding beans and extraction to mastering espresso and milk techniques. With hands-on training and expert guidance, you’ll develop the craft, consistency, and creativity needed to create exceptional coffee experiences.

COFFEE ENTREPRENEURSHIP PROGRAM

This course is designed to guide coffee Professionals, entrepreneurs, and Cafe owners to a deeper understanding of the coffee industry. This course goes beyond brewing skills to introduce the fundamentals of coffee entrepreneurship, helping you understand not just how to make great coffee, but how to build a business around it. From sourcing and roasting basics to café operations, branding, and customer experience, the course blends hands-on barista training with practical insights, empowering you to turn your passion for coffee into a sustainable venture.

SCA CERTIFICATION COURSES

Barista Skills focuses on techniques and knowledge for baristas, such as espresso preparation, milk texturing, and customer service and sensory skills Focuses on developing the ability to assess and evaluate the taste and aroma of coffee, using standardised tasting methods
